Shohail Ibne Mahbub (XTR)
I'm an avid Bangla music album collector in this hobby since 2012. Having grown up in the "Underground" era of Bangla band music, I took the initiative to archive and upload album artworks. Till now, I've been recognised and acknowledged by various artists, bands, streaming and label companies for my work on Bangla CD Covers. There's a high chance most artwork you see floating around the internet are scanned by me!

Aalo by Warfaze

"Aalo" is the fifth studio album by pioneer heavy metal band Warfaze . It was released in 2001 from Soundtek productions. Three distinct formats of this album exists: Cassette, Jewel Case (no lyrics booklet) and Soundtek's unique Long Paper box (which are mostly re-releases that sometime contain "silver" discs). This album was the fruit of a huge lineup change; Sunjoy left the country for the USA, and was replaced by new vocalist Mizan . Sumon also left the band to pursue a solo career where he would eventually form his band, Aurthohin ; he was replaced by new bassist Biju . Iqbal Asif Jewe l was replaced by Balam on guitars and vocals. Shams also became a full-time member from 1999 onward as a keyboardist. Along with veteran members Kamal and Tipu , the 6 member band released Aalo which gave birth to hits like "Hotasha", "Jotodurey", "Mrittu Aligi", "Nei Tumi" etc. This album had a distinct millennia feel and sound

Oshamajik by Warfaze

"Oshamajik" is the fourth studio album pioneer heavy metal band Warfaze . It was released in 1998 from G-Series initially on Cassette and later in 2001 on CD Jewel case formats with alternate artworks. Later on, the CD was re-released twice, first as a Jewel Case release keeping the original CD artwork with the older CD inside, and second as both Jewel Case and Paperback releases with a new black colour scheme with a black "silver" disc. This was also the last album to feature Sunjoy on vocals and Fuad as keyboardist, while Babna was replaced by Sumon (of Faith/Aurthohin fame) on bass/vocals and Iqbal Asif Jewel joined as a guitarist and vocalist from another heavy metal band, Legend . Tipu and Kamal retained their positions in the band. Oshamajik is unique in the sense that it featured three lead vocalists and showed the diverse genres of music Warfaze was indeed capable of producing. The album was dedicated to the band's beloved brother Ahmed Ishaq Abdul

Jibon Dhara by Warfaze

"Jibon Dhara" is the third studio album of pioneer heavy metal band Warfaze . It was released in 1997 from Soundtek initially on Cassette and in later in 2001 on CD Jewel Case formats. Later the CD was re-released in a long paper box like Soundtek's many releases at the time in 2001. The album is also the last time where Sunjoy , Babna , Kamal , Tipu and Fuad would play together on the same album. Russel Ali had also left the band to persue a music career in the United states. The album therefore holds much importance in Warfaze's discography, with the band achieving commercial success with tracks like "Mounota", "Dhupchaya", "Tumi", "Rupachad" and the title track, "Jibon Dhara". Just like their previous album Obak Bhalobasha, Jibon Dhara featured full custom artwork by Jahangir Hyder who also contributed heavily with the lyrics for the album. The timeless logo designed by Mascot Monem also made a worthy return. C

Obak Bhalobasha by Warfaze

"Obak Bhalobasha" is the sophomore album of pioneer heavy metal band Warfaze . It was released in 1994 from Sargam originally on Cassette and later on CD Formats with full custom cover artwork by  Masud Kamal , which was conceptualized by the band with Munna . It also debuted the band's official logo, which is still used today, made by Mascot Monem . The album was re-released in 2008 by Sargam with a different front cover that featured the original artwork in a cutout fashion. Following in the footsteps of the debut album, the band focused more on their sound and delivered matured lyrics and compositions. After the release of the debut album, the band followed it up with a concert on 7 January, 1992 at the RAOWA club. Soon aferwards, the band got to work on the songs for Obak Bhalobasha which had massive hits like, "Onno Bhubon (Ekti Chhele Kromosho)", "Obak Bhalobasha", "Jokhon", "Bondi Niyoti", "Nirbashon" etc. The l

Warfaze by Warfaze

"Warfaze" is the self-titled debut album of pioneer Bangladeshi Heavy Metal band Warfaze . It was released from Sargam in 1991 in cassette format with a later CD release in the late '90s. The CD was also re-released by Sargam in 2008. The album featured hits like "Boshe Achhi", "Ekti Chhele", "Bichchhinno Abeg", "Shadhikhar" etc. and during that time, this sound was unheard of in the Bangladeshi band music scene. Lyrics other than romanticism and patriotism were rare, so it took a while for this music to be accepted, especially in a band music scene where Pop largely dominated as the mainstream music of choice for bands. Warfaze, along with Rockstrata, In Dhaka and Aces are the sole reason why this genre of music became so popular, and gave way to the popularization of Progressive Rock, Progressive Metal and Hard Rock bands that emerged in the late '90s and early 2000s from the Underground era. Warfaze was formed on June 6th

Shohorbondi by Meghdol

"Shohorbondi" is the sophomore album of popular Bangladeshi theatrical band Meghdol. It was released in 2009 from Agniveena, sister concern of G-Series. Following the footsteps of the debut album "Droher Montre Bhalobasha", the band delivered yet another solid album, that was met with upmost praise and was quintessential in the development of the band's cult following. This time around, the focus was more on urban living with much better recording and more matured vocals and instrumentation. This gave the album more of a "concept album" feel. It was obvious that Meghdol was not bound by any genre, and they had succeeded in achieving a truly diverse sonic identity. Ujjal and Joy left the band, but Amzad joined as the new drummer. The album was also glorified with beautiful custom artwork in a unified theme reminiscent of the band members art background at the Faculty of Fine Arts (Charukola), University of Dhaka. The lineup of "Shohorbondi"
