'Megher Deshe' is Sumon's 3rd solo work, perhaps his most ambitious one. It is a tribute to John Denver. Sumon describes in the album sleeves about how he came to know about Denver, and how his songs inspired him to do a cover in Bangla. It seemed like a wild idea, but it worked. And soon with the help of 'Khaled Bhai' of G-Series and Iqbal Asif Jewel, he released it in 2005. He also collaborated with Nazia and Elita (of Raaga) for the female vocals.
