Shohail Ibne Mahbub (XTR)
I'm an avid Bangla music album collector in this hobby since 2012. Having grown up in the "Underground" era of Bangla band music, I took the initiative to archive and upload album artworks. Till now, I've been recognised and acknowledged by various artists, bands, streaming and label companies for my work on Bangla CD Covers. There's a high chance most artwork you see floating around the internet are scanned by me!

Rodh Boleche Hobe by Arnob

"Rodh Boleche Hobe" is the 4th studio album by respected Bangladeshi fusion artist, Shayan Chowdhury Arnob . He self-released this album from his own production house, Adhkhana Muzik in October of 2010 in a limited edition long box format with a 16 page booklet that features Artwork, Poems and a story written by him. Arnob mentions in the sleeves, the story behind why he chose to work independently from label companies and form Adhkhana Muzik. He says that he was fed up of losing rights to his intellectual property (songs, artworks, compositions, etc.) because that was the norm when signing up with a label company. He believed it was necessary for artists to be aware of the consequences when they decide to sell their rights off like that to labels. As artists are blessed with the divine gift of expressing their thoughts, singing and playing in a way that is deemed "artistic", it is sad they are unable to pursue their music full time, and must take up another seco...

Jhalmuri 1 & 2 [Mixed Albums]

"Jhalmuri 1 & 2" are a mixed-artists dual-album singer/songwriter project of popular Bangladeshi fusion artist, Shayan Chowdhury Arnob . They were released in 2007 from Bengal Music Company (BMC) Ltd. The albums featured up and coming singer/songwriters as well as many of Arnob's friends. Jhalmuri 1 featured Punam (from Prayer Hall , another project of Arnob), Tahmid , Abida , Gourob , Armeen Musa , Nabila , Shawjeeb , Sahana Bajpaie , Bappa Mazumder . While Jhalmuri 2 featured Sovvota , Shuvo , Laura , Rupom , Srabonti , Syed Wakil Ahmed , Habib Wahid , Nancy and Arnob .   The overall song arrangements were done by Arnob, but the songs were indeed written by the singers. The reasoning behind such an album, as per the album sleeves is that, making songs had become extremely mechanical and monotonous. It was like as if somebody came up with a lyrics, another with the tune, and finally after vocals had given by yet another person, the people behind the song itsel...

They all met in this beautiful place in India, known as "Land". They went there at different times to rediscover themselves and were inspired to create music. In fact, they recorded most of the songs in a room there called "Prayer Hall". Hence, the band came to be known as that name. Doob by Arnob

"Doob" is the third studio album by the multi-talented Bangladeshi fusion artist, Shayan Chowdhury Arnob . It was released in April of 2008 from Bengal Music Company (BMC) ltd. This was a follow-up of his hit album, "Hok Kolorob" and featured his new music, rather than old remade songs during his Shantiniketan days. It featured great hits like, "Shopno Debe Doob", "Adhkhana", "Lukiye", "Chai" and "Rastay". Arnob continued to hold his legacy with the release of this album, which was greatly sponsored by Nokia during their operations in Bangladesh. In the album sleeves, Arnob mentions that this album was a work of 6 months, where he submerged himself in his musical works. It could be even interpreted as a diary of a challenging musical journey. Arnob also dedicated this album to his wife at that time, Sahana Bajpaie , and mentions that thanking her simply is pointless because she itself is part of his music. Sahan...
