I'm an avid Bangla music album collector in this hobby since 2012. Having grown up in the "Underground" era of Bangla band music, I took the initiative to archive and upload album artworks. Till now, I've been recognised and acknowledged by various artists, bands, streaming and label companies for my work on Bangla CD Covers. There's a high chance most artwork you see floating around the internet are scanned by me!

Neon Aloy Shagotom [Band Mixed Album]

"Neon Aloy Shagotom" is a band mixed album coordinated by Ziaur Rahman Zia (of Shironamhin fame) released in 2007 from G-Series in paperback format. 13 bands ( Karnishey Magpie, Meghdol, Striking, D Minor, Shohortoli, Ajob, Dhrubo, Road House, Shorboda, B'Borton, Kanak O Kartrik, Shohor, Shironamhin ) participated in this unique project. The theme behind this album lines in the genre of the participating bands, mainly urban psychedelic and theatrical rock. Cover photograph of the album, that showed the homeless people living in Dhaka, was by "Foring ". While the rest of the photographs were taken by Zia...

Shohorbondi by Meghdol

"Shohorbondi" is the sophomore album of popular Bangladeshi theatrical band Meghdol. It was released in 2009 from Agniveena, sister concern of G-Series. Following the footsteps of the debut album "Droher Montre Bhalobasha", the band delivered yet another solid album, that was met with upmost praise and was quintessential in the development of the band's cult following. This time around, the focus was more on urban living with much better recording and more matured vocals and instrumentation. This gave the album more of a "concept album" feel. It was obvious that Meghdol was not bound by any genre, and they had succeeded in achieving a truly diverse sonic identity. Ujjal and Joy left the band, but Amzad joined as the new drummer. The album was also glorified with beautiful custom artwork in a unified theme reminiscent of the band members art background at the Faculty of Fine Arts (Charukola), University of Dhaka. The lineup of "Shohorbondi"...

Droher Montre Bhalobasha by Meghdol

"Droher Montre Bhalobasha" is the debut album of Bangladeshi theatrical band Meghdol . It was released in 2005 from G-Series. Meghdol was influential in popularizing the urban life songs alongside Shironamhin. The band gained popularity through a track called "Om", which depicts various different religious aspects. This particular album had a lyrical theme that varied from personal sentiments, to political angst and had an overall anarchist tone. Albeit controversial, it was also met with strong admiration. Such a distinctive niche in the Bangladeshi Band Music scene was very much necessary and they received a strong cult following after the album. The album was accompanied with a 12-page full-colour booklet depicting their origins, back stories and lyrics. By Mehgdol, the band means their desire to surrender themselves to infinity in the most desirable way. And also, the clouds hold a special meaning in their hearts and their music to rise above all and see the w...
