I'm an avid Bangla music album collector in this hobby since 2012. Having grown up in the "Underground" era of Bangla band music, I took the initiative to archive and upload album artworks. Till now, I've been recognised and acknowledged by various artists, bands, streaming and label companies for my work on Bangla CD Covers. There's a high chance most artwork you see floating around the internet are scanned by me!

Pothchola by Warfaze

"Pothchola" is the first compilation album and chronologically the sixth album of pioneer heavy metal band, Warfaze . It was released in 2009 from G-Series/Agniveena in both cassette & paperback CD formats. The name Pothchola was taken from the same song released originally in their third album, "Jibon Dhara" as a memento to surpassing the 25 years milestone they had been in music during the time of release. The album contained 11 re-recorded hit Warfaze songs from previous albums and 2 brand new songs ( Tomake & Omanush ). The album was the outcome of the 25 year/silver jubilee celebration of Warfaze, when the band performed in a legacy concert on 15 October, 2008 at the Winter Garden of Dhaka Sheraton Hotel. Almost all ex-members of Warfaze made an appearance at the show that further cemented the band's legacy in the band music scene of Bangladesh. The band thanked all of their fans and the individuals who had supported them throughout the years t...

Shohorbondi by Meghdol

"Shohorbondi" is the sophomore album of popular Bangladeshi theatrical band Meghdol. It was released in 2009 from Agniveena, sister concern of G-Series. Following the footsteps of the debut album "Droher Montre Bhalobasha", the band delivered yet another solid album, that was met with upmost praise and was quintessential in the development of the band's cult following. This time around, the focus was more on urban living with much better recording and more matured vocals and instrumentation. This gave the album more of a "concept album" feel. It was obvious that Meghdol was not bound by any genre, and they had succeeded in achieving a truly diverse sonic identity. Ujjal and Joy left the band, but Amzad joined as the new drummer. The album was also glorified with beautiful custom artwork in a unified theme reminiscent of the band members art background at the Faculty of Fine Arts (Charukola), University of Dhaka. The lineup of "Shohorbondi"...

Bondho Janala by Shironamhin

"Bondho Janala" is the third studio album by Shironamhin . Released on April 13 of 2009 from G-Series, the album was paramount in making the band be deemed as a psychedelic rock band. This was a challenging step direction for the band, but they were successful in mastering the lyrics, as well as incorporate and explore many classical acoustic instruments that included esraj, silver flute, trumpet as the album was enriched with vivid orchestration - something that was unique to Shironamhin at the time of release. Accompanying the "Urban Life" influence in the lyrics were various historical events or movements including the 1952 State Language Movement. The album spurred great hits like "Bondho Janala", "Bhalobasha Megh", "Bullet Kingba Kobitay", "Eka", "Bus Stoppage", "Bangladesh" etc. Urban Life influences comprised of stories portraying bus stops, newspaper stand, billboards displaying contest winner b...

"Arnob & Friends Live: Songs from World Tour '08" is a unique live album by respected Bangladeshi fusion artist, Shayan Chowdhury Arnob . It was released a year later in August of 2009 from Bengal Music Company (BMC) ltd. This live album was a beautiful diary of many performances during the world tour he took with his friends and fellow artists - Andrew , Nazia , Resalat (Dhrubo) and Jibon , partnering with the non-profit, non-partisan volunteer organization called "Drishtipat" . This world tour was hosted by various chapters of the Dristipat in the USA, the UK and Canada throughout 2008, and the proceeds from these concerts were dedicated toward Dristipat's Child Domestic Workers Education project and other development projects in Bangladesh.
