"RaaGa" is the debut self-titled album of the pop band, RaaGa . It was released on Valentines Day, February 14th of 2005 from G-Series in both Cassette and Jewel Case CD formats. Later on, it also received a paperback release. RaaGa comprises of 6 Bangladeshi musicians - Joy , Ashiq , Chisti , Elita , Emran , Nafeez and this was their first and only album. Composer, songwriter Ashiq and Elita began working on this particular project in 2003 with their first single, "Kothay" , recorded in May of that year in collaboration with ace sound engineer Habib and co-producer Balam . At that time, Emran (on keys), played a significant role in the formation of the band which eventually found its drummer Nafeez in later in August. During the initial planning of the album, the lineup got in touch with Joy (on bass) and Chisti (on Guitars) and they instantly clicked with the project. Thus, "RaaGa" came into being.
