'Shopnochura' is the first of the series of band mixed albums co-ordinated by Black's drummer Tony Vincent Gomes. Featuring a line-up of old and new bands, the series played a pioneer role as a platform for future bands who needed a bit of exposure. Tony succeeded in doing that. Shopnochura featured various bands and spurred huge hits like 'Epituff' and 'Nupur' and the instrumental extravaganza known as 'Purbo-Poshchim'. The compilation album was released in 2004. I'm an avid Bangla music album collector in this hobby since 2012. Having grown up in the "Underground" era of Bangla band music, I took the initiative to archive and upload album artworks. Till now, I've been recognised and acknowledged by various artists, bands, streaming and label companies for my work on Bangla CD Covers. There's a high chance most artwork you see floating around the internet are scanned by me!
