My photo

I'm an avid Bangla music album collector in this hobby since 2012. Having grown up in the "Underground" era of Bangla band music, I took the initiative to archive and upload album artworks. Till now, I've been recognised and acknowledged by various artists, bands, streaming and label companies for my work on Bangla CD Covers. There's a high chance most artwork you see floating around the internet are scanned by me!

GrooveTrap by GrooveTrap

"GrooveTrap" is the debut self-titled album of funk band, GrooveTrap . It was released in 2008 from Rage Records in both Cassette and CD formats. Unlike the rock-dominated Bangladeshi Band Music scene in the 2000s, GrooveTrap was indeed a breath of fresh air with their signature mix of 65% funk, 25% acid jazz, 5% rock and 5% pop. The band is mainly a trio of musicians ( Saif Quadir , Simin Saifuddin and Jasper Al-Rashid ), with their friends performing as guest musicians, that formed in 2007. The band describes their musical orientation as " From the funky rhythms of heart stopping acid jazz, couple with your favorite dosage of soul, rock and pop, GrooveTrap is the dish you would want to have when, maybe, nothing goes your way. Melody is at the very heart of anything GrooveTrap does" . Long term friend of the band, Buno (of Bangla fame) left a foreword in the album sleeves mentioning the band was brave enough to try something new with their talented lineup. The

Kolponar Baire by Stoic Bliss

"Kolponar Baire" is the sophomore album by the pioneers of Bangla Hip-Hop and Rap music, Stoic Bliss . After cementing their legacy as the talk of the town and having well over 250,000 copies of their first album sold, the band hit the studios and came up with this album in mid 2007. G-Series released Kolponar Baire ("Beyond Imagination") in both Paperback and Cassette formats. Following the establishment of popularity of Hip Hop music in the Bangladeshi music scene through which Stoic Bliss is solely responsible for giving other Hip Hop acts and bands the platform, the band intentionally made their sophomore album a bit different, with 4 more matured Pop numbers and overall lyrics keeping the quintessential Stoic Bliss flavour. Members Kazi and Ac1D made a comeback, as did Rajib Rahman ( Double R ) and Mana . Older members (namely B1shop , RuL , Fly , TiZZy , Xtro , New and Fuhad/AQ's finest ) were given credit and thank yous for taking part in the first

Light Years Ahead by Stoic Bliss

"Light Years Ahead" or "Alok Borsho Durey" is the debut album of the pioneers of Bangla hip-hop, Stoic Bliss . The Bangladeshi-American hip hop band released this album in June 2006 from G-Series in both Jewel Case CD album and Cassette formats. Following huge popularity that the album garnered, it was followed with a paperback release to meet the demands. In fact,  Light Years Ahead sold well over 250,000 copies in the first 10 months, marking the very positive reception of hip-hop music in the Bangla music scene. It spawned timeless hits like "Abar Jigay ??" (which became a pop culture phenomenon among the "dhakaite" lingo of the mid 2000s), "Mayabi Chokh" , " Party at PianoHouse" , "Sheshbarer Moto" , "Chow Mei Fun" etc. Even though the key members of Stoic Bliss are singer Kazi , rapper Ac1D who teamed up with the emerging music producer of the NY bangla music scene, Rajib Rahman aka Double R ,
