'Shopnochura 2' is the second album in the Shopnochura series co-ordinated by Black Drummer Tony Vincent Gomes. Like it's prequel 'Shopnochura', it featured a lineup of both old and new bands coming into one spotlight. This was also a hit throughout the country with notable songs of "Ondho", "Ekta Gopon Kotha", "Khachar Bhitor Ochin Pakhi" etc. It was released in 2005. 'Shopnochura' is the first of the series of band mixed albums co-ordinated by Black's drummer Tony Vincent Gomes. Featuring a line-up of old and new bands, the series played a pioneer role as a platform for future bands who needed a bit of exposure. Tony succeeded in doing that. Shopnochura featured various bands and spurred huge hits like 'Epituff' and 'Nupur' and the instrumental extravaganza known as 'Purbo-Poshchim'. The compilation album was released in 2004.
