"Droher Montre Bhalobasha" is the debut album of Bangladeshi theatrical band Meghdol. It was released in 2005 from G-Series. Meghdol was influential in popularizing the urban life songs alongside Shironamhin. The band gained popularity through a track called "Om", which depicts various different religious aspects. This particular album had a lyrical theme that varied from personal sentiments, to political angst and had an overall anarchist tone. Albeit controversial, it was also met with strong admiration. Such a distinctive niche in the Bangladeshi Band Music scene was very much necessary and they received a strong cult following after the album. The album was accompanied with a 12-page full-colour booklet depicting their origins, back stories and lyrics. By Mehgdol, the band means their desire to surrender themselves to infinity in the most desirable way. And also, the clouds hold a special meaning in their hearts and their music to rise above all and see the world without prejudice. The name of the band was borrowed from a translation of Charles Baudelaire's poem. The album was also the fruit of 3 years composing and 8 months recording.
