"Pothchola" is the first compilation album and chronologically the sixth album of pioneer heavy metal band, Warfaze . It was released in 2009 from G-Series/Agniveena in both cassette & paperback CD formats. The name Pothchola was taken from the same song released originally in their third album, "Jibon Dhara" as a memento to surpassing the 25 years milestone they had been in music during the time of release. The album contained 11 re-recorded hit Warfaze songs from previous albums and 2 brand new songs ( Tomake & Omanush ). The album was the outcome of the 25 year/silver jubilee celebration of Warfaze, when the band performed in a legacy concert on 15 October, 2008 at the Winter Garden of Dhaka Sheraton Hotel. "Warfaze" is the self-titled debut album of pioneer Bangladeshi Heavy Metal band Warfaze . It was released from Sargam in 1991 in cassette format with a later CD release in the late '90s. The CD was also re-released by Sargam in 2008. The album featured hits like "Boshe Achhi", "Ekti Chhele", "Bichchhinno Abeg", "Shadhikhar" etc. and during that time, this sound was unheard of in the Bangladeshi band music scene. Lyrics other than romanticism and patriotism were rare, so it took a while for this music to be accepted, especially in a band music scene where Pop largely dominated as the mainstream music of choice for bands. Warfaze, along with Rockstrata, In Dhaka and Aces are the sole reason why this genre of music became so popular, and gave way to the popularization of Progressive Rock, Progressive Metal and Hard Rock bands that emerged in the late '90s and early 2000s from the Underground era. "Moharaaj" is the 6th studio album by pioneer heavy metal band Warfaze . It was released in June of 2003 from Ektaar Music in three distinct formats: Cassette, Jewel Case CD and Paperback CD. The overall theme and concept behind Moharaaj was political turmoil and how mass people suffered and fought for their rights, even when a country that ran on democracy. This album was also the fruit of a lineup change like their previous album, Aalo. After the release of that album however, Kamal decided to take a break after being in music for almost 20 years almost continuously. In this situation, the band recruited Sazzad , lead guitarist of another metal band, Metal Maze . Warfaze did a lot of shows in this lineup but in 2002, Biju (the bassist) had to leave for Canada. "Shotto" is the seventh studio album and chronologically eigth album by pioneer heavy metal band Warfaze . It was released on 21 October 2012 from Deadline Music on paperback CD format only. Featuring the same stable lineup (of Oni , Tipu , Roger , Mizan , Kamal , Shams ) as Pothchola  they had after many years of changes, the band's new album featured a distinct new sound that was coupled with their older heavy beginnings. Hard rock, soft rock ballads, fast riffs - all were staple in Shotto. Famous hits included the likes of "Na", "Rupkotha", "Purnota" etc. This was yet another album from Warfaze that featured only one lead vocalist followed by the previous Moharaaj album. The track "Protikkha" was actually an unreleased track from the early 2000s. The album was also sponsored by Banglalink, and the final track, a bonus instrumental track was made for them by Warfaze. "Jibon Dhara" is the third studio album of pioneer heavy metal band Warfaze . It was released in 1997 from Soundtek initially on Cassette and in later in 2001 on CD Jewel Case formats. Later the CD was re-released in a long paper box like Soundtek's many releases at the time in 2001. The album is also the last time where Sunjoy , Babna , Kamal , Tipu and Fuad would play together on the same album. Russel Ali had also left the band to persue a music career in the United states. The album therefore holds much importance in Warfaze's discography, with the band achieving commercial success with tracks like "Mounota", "Dhupchaya", "Tumi", "Rupachad" and the title track, "Jibon Dhara". Just like their previous album Obak Bhalobasha, Jibon Dhara featured full custom artwork by Jahangir Hyder who also contributed heavily with the lyrics for the album.
