"Neon Aloy Shagotom" is a band mixed album coordinated by Ziaur Rahman Zia (of Shironamhin fame) released in 2007 from G-Series in paperback format. 13 bands ( Karnishey Magpie, Meghdol, Striking, D Minor, Shohortoli, Ajob, Dhrubo, Road House, Shorboda, B'Borton, Kanak O Kartrik, Shohor, Shironamhin ) participated in this unique project. The theme behind this album lines in the genre of the participating bands, mainly urban psychedelic and theatrical rock. The struggles of living in a big city like Dhaka, coupled with the constant need to better themselves is what drives these bands. Moreover, the project aimed to give a different flavour and presentation of "fabric and texture" of music compared to the popular hard rock and heavy metal infused rock music scene of the 2000s with an emphasis on Lyrics. "GrooveTrap" is the debut self-titled album of funk band, GrooveTrap . It was released in 2008 from Rage Records in both Cassette and CD formats. Unlike the rock-dominated Bangladeshi Band Music scene in the 2000s, GrooveTrap was indeed a breath of fresh air with their signature mix of 65% funk, 25% acid jazz, 5% rock and 5% pop. The band is mainly a trio of musicians ( Saif Quadir , Simin Saifuddin and Jasper Al-Rashid ), with their friends performing as guest musicians, that formed in 2007. "Kolponar Baire" is the sophomore album by the pioneers of Bangla Hip-Hop and Rap music, Stoic Bliss . After cementing their legacy as the talk of the town and having well over 250,000 copies of their first album sold, the band hit the studios and came up with this album in mid 2007. G-Series released Kolponar Baire ("Beyond Imagination") in both Paperback and Cassette formats. "Light Years Ahead" or "Alok Borsho Durey" is the debut album of the pioneers of Bangla hip-hop, Stoic Bliss . The Bangladeshi-American hip hop band released this album in June 2006 from G-Series in both Jewel Case CD album and Cassette formats. Following huge popularity that the album garnered, it was followed with a paperback release to meet the demands. In fact,  Light Years Ahead sold well over 250,000 copies in the first 10 months, marking the very positive reception of hip-hop music in the Bangla music scene. It spawned timeless hits like "Abar Jigay ??" "Scarecrow" is the self-titled special edition EP album by metal band Scarecrow . It was released in 2013 as a paperback from G-Series. Following their success in the underground music scene and their debut album, "Oparthib" from 2006, the band got to work on their sophomore album. In the meantime, they released two singles: "Shesh Shimana" in the band mixed album "Republic" (Coordinated by Tinu Rashid of Karnival ) in 2011 and "Neon Aalo"  in the biggest band mixed album to date, "Hatiar" (Coordinated by Isha Khan Durey ) in 2012. Finally after a long studio album hiatus, in 2013, they officially released this self-titled extended play album featuring 2 brand new tracks from their long awaited and upcoming second album. "Biday Shongbidhan" is the debut album by Groove Thrash/Heavy Metal band, Minerva . It was released on July 13th, 2013 from Incursion Music in Paperback and Digital format (which contains a full 12-page booklet). Featuring 8 tracks, two of which are in English, the album was a follow up to their win at the 2011 Incursion Battle of the Bands , a band hunt competition held by the record label company on 24th of June at Saffron in Gulshan, Dhaka. In the finals, they performed their signature 14-minute tribute "medley", with songs from Azam Khan , Nagar Baul (James) , LRB (Ayub Bacchu) , Miles , Warfaze , Aurthohin , Cryptic Fate , Artcell , Black , Nemesis , Arbovirus , Powersurge and Mechanix proceeded by their own single " Mrittur Shesh Chhoy" .
