Shohail Ibne Mahbub (XTR)
I'm an avid Bangla music album collector in this hobby since 2012. Having grown up in the "Underground" era of Bangla band music, I took the initiative to archive and upload album artworks. Till now, I've been recognised and acknowledged by various artists, bands, streaming and label companies for my work on Bangla CD Covers. There's a high chance most artwork you see floating around the internet are scanned by me!

Rodh Boleche Hobe by Arnob

"Rodh Boleche Hobe" is the 4th studio album by respected Bangladeshi fusion artist, Shayan Chowdhury Arnob . He self-released this album from his own production house, Adhkhana Muzik in October of 2010 in a limited edition long box format with a 16 page booklet that features Artwork, Poems and a story written by him. Arnob mentions in the sleeves, the story behind why he chose to work independently from label companies and form Adhkhana Muzik. He says that he was fed up of losing rights to his intellectual property (songs, artworks, compositions, etc.) because that was the norm when signing up with a label company. He believed it was necessary for artists to be aware of the consequences when they decide to sell their rights off like that to labels. As artists are blessed with the divine gift of expressing their thoughts, singing and playing in a way that is deemed "artistic", it is sad they are unable to pursue their music full time, and must take up another seco

Paper Rhyme by Paper Rhyme

"Paper Rhyme" is the debut self-titled album by popular Bangladeshi '90s pop-rock band Paper Rhyme . It was released in 1996 from Soundtek in cassette format. Nearing the millennium, it received a CD release on "Silver Disc". Paper Rhyme was a band that formed in 1992, with the lineup of: Ahmed Saad , Nasser Haque , Rashed Iqbal , Aninda Kabir Avik and Schumann Zaman . Rashed and Nasser were part of popular pop-rock trio "Masrur-Rashed-Nasser" , with two albums called Lesson-1 and Lesson-2 . The band produced only one album and then "disappeared" as they like to say it after '96, but actually the band members went their different ways in life. They were in hiatus until in 2017, when they reunited (with the absence of Rashed Iqbal) for one last studio performance in a '90s bands compilation album called "Abar" , with the song, "Darao Bondhu" . Paper Rhyme's biggest hit to this day is the song called "On

Daak by Yaatri

"Daak" is the debut album of popular pop rock/easy listening band "Yaatri" . It was released in 2006 from G-Series in both Paperback and Cassette format. In 2008 it was re-released as an extended paperback with no booklet. The album was a project mainly consisting of Rashed Uddin Ahmed Topu and Emran Khan . Topu wrote all the lyrics for the album while Emran did the keys and programming. Previously, this duo composed two mega hit songs, the first one called "Nupur" in 2004 for Tony Vincent Gomes ' band mixed album, "Shopnochura" and the second "Ekta Gopon Kotha" which was featured in Tony's 2nd compilation in the series, "Shopnochura 2" in 2005. For "Daak", to complete the tracks, the duo took help from a lot of popular and up and coming artists during that time: Guitarists - Ahsan Ul Habi Adil, James, Bassists - Shams Alim Biswas, Ishtiaq Hossain Jishan, Vocalists - Armeen Musa, Elita Karim, Simin Sai

Ekhon Ami by Sumon

"Ekhon Ami" is the 5th solo album by famous Bangladeshi artist Sumon , in which he collaborated with Anila Naz Chowdhury and Fuad Al-Muqtadir (hence the name, "Fuad feat. Sumon and Anila - Ekhon Ami" ). It was released in December 2007 from Agniveena (sister concern of G-Series). Previously in February 2007, Sumon had released his mega solo album "Boka Manushta (Sumon O Aurthohin 2)". The Miracle - 1 by Upol Islam

"The Miracle - 1" is the chronologically 2nd and the first solo album of Upol Islam , who is famously known to work with Fuad Al-Muqtadir since the early days of his stardom, starting with "Kranti" . It was released in 2010 from Bengal Music Company (BMC) Ltd. The album is a mix of pop and hip-hop as Upol Islam collaborated with a lot hip-hop artists, especially from Blazin' Annex . All of the 11 tracks are Upol's original compositions. According to the sleeves, Upol mentions he was really thankful and grateful to everyone for this album, especially his family members. That statement can be traced back to the release of his first album, which was titled "Ke Tumi" and released from CMV (BD) in 2001. In that album, he had collaborated with another famous singer of Bangladesh, Pantho Kanai . "Ke Tumi" featured 5 songs each from both artists. However, Upol was not satisfied with the album because at the time of recording (the whole albu

Jhalmuri 1 & 2 [Mixed Albums]

"Jhalmuri 1 & 2" are a mixed-artists dual-album singer/songwriter project of popular Bangladeshi fusion artist, Shayan Chowdhury Arnob . They were released in 2007 from Bengal Music Company (BMC) Ltd. The albums featured up and coming singer/songwriters as well as many of Arnob's friends. Jhalmuri 1 featured Punam (from Prayer Hall , another project of Arnob), Tahmid , Abida , Gourob , Armeen Musa , Nabila , Shawjeeb , Sahana Bajpaie , Bappa Mazumder . While Jhalmuri 2 featured Sovvota , Shuvo , Laura , Rupom , Srabonti , Syed Wakil Ahmed , Habib Wahid , Nancy and Arnob .   The overall song arrangements were done by Arnob, but the songs were indeed written by the singers. The reasoning behind such an album, as per the album sleeves is that, making songs had become extremely mechanical and monotonous. It was like as if somebody came up with a lyrics, another with the tune, and finally after vocals had given by yet another person, the people behind the song itsel
