I'm an avid Bangla music album collector in this hobby since 2012. Having grown up in the "Underground" era of Bangla band music, I took the initiative to archive and upload album artworks. Till now, I've been recognised and acknowledged by various artists, bands, streaming and label companies for my work on Bangla CD Covers. There's a high chance most artwork you see floating around the internet are scanned by me!

The Miracle - 1 by Upol Islam

"The Miracle - 1" is the chronologically 2nd and the first solo album of Upol Islam, who is famously known to work with Fuad Al-Muqtadir since the early days of his stardom, starting with "Kranti". It was released in 2010 from Bengal Music Company (BMC) Ltd. The album is a mix of pop and hip-hop as Upol Islam collaborated with a lot hip-hop artists, especially from Blazin' Annex. All of the 11 tracks are Upol's original compositions. According to the sleeves, Upol mentions he was really thankful and grateful to everyone for this album, especially his family members.

That statement can be traced back to the release of his first album, which was titled "Ke Tumi" and released from CMV (BD) in 2001. In that album, he had collaborated with another famous singer of Bangladesh, Pantho Kanai. "Ke Tumi" featured 5 songs each from both artists. However, Upol was not satisfied with the album because at the time of recording (the whole album was recorded in 5 days), he was really ill. Moreover, it wasn't too long ago, that his father, famous lyricist Mr. Hena Islam, had passed away. Given the early 2000s recording equipments, it really wasn't up to mark, according to Upol. His amazing talent however, was not going to in vain, and Fuad Al-Muqtadir met him in New York (Upol had been living in the USA most of his life then) in 2002 and started collaborated with him, the first of which was his 2003 project, Kranti (which featured Anila Naz Chowdhury as lead vocals), that Upol co-produced. Furthermore, he wrote the song "Ke" from the album.

Later on, Upol released his first collaboration with Fuad with a track named "Jodi Ene Dao", and digitally released it on the then popular music website, Amadergaan.com. He then worked on Fuad's Variation No. 25 (2006) in two tracks called "Ganga" & "Meye". In 2007, he also worked with Fuad on "Bonno" in the title track "Tor Jonno Bonno" and wrote a most of the original songs. Fuad's next release, Kromannoy (2008) featured Upol more extensively with the hit track "Jibon Gelo". Upol also worked on many albums, wrote and tuned for quite a few singers, including co-producing two hit songs of popular pop artist, Mehreen. His songs also get constant radio airtime.

Paper Rhyme by Paper Rhyme

"Paper Rhyme" is the debut self-titled album by popular Bangladeshi '90s pop-rock band Paper Rhyme . It was released in 1996 from Soundtek in cassette format. Nearing the millennium, it received a CD release on "Silver Disc". Paper Rhyme was a band that formed in 1992, with the lineup of: Ahmed Saad , Nasser Haque , Rashed Iqbal , Aninda Kabir Avik and Schumann Zaman . Rashed and Nasser were part of popular pop-rock trio "Masrur-Rashed-Nasser" , with two albums called Lesson-1 and Lesson-2 . The band produced only one album and then "disappeared" as they like to say it after '96, but actually the band members went their different ways in life. They were in hiatus until in 2017, when they reunited (with the absence of Rashed Iqbal) for one last studio performance in a '90s bands compilation album called "Abar" , with the song, "Darao Bondhu" . Paper Rhyme's biggest hit to this day is the song called "On
