I'm an avid Bangla music album collector in this hobby since 2012. Having grown up in the "Underground" era of Bangla band music, I took the initiative to archive and upload album artworks. Till now, I've been recognised and acknowledged by various artists, bands, streaming and label companies for my work on Bangla CD Covers. There's a high chance most artwork you see floating around the internet are scanned by me!

Oporajeyo by Mechanix

"Oporajeyo" is the debut album by heavy metal band Mechanix. It was released on 30th of July, 2011 from Deadline Music (DLM) in paperback format. Comprising of ten songs, it was the result of Mechanix's of being in the underground music scene for 6 years. It was also a key band that made it into the semi-finals of the second season of the nation-wide band hunt program by GrameenPhone's youth oriented offering Djuice's aptly named "D'Rockstar2" in 2007. Through this, Mechanix received enormous, appreciated and valued responses from all both Bangladeshi and International music fans. The band also managed to create a bridge between the heavy metal listeners by introducing them to the genre of metal music in a more melodic and rhythmic way. The message behind the album was patriotism, revolt and the fight for building a better world. The album was mixed and mastered by none other than Raef Al Hasan Rafa (of Aurthohin fame at that time), who coincidentally produced the debut album of the D'Rockstars2 winners, Powersurge. Mechanix's official logo was done by Nathan Bicheno from New Zealand. The album art and photography was done by Mohsen Sunnah. Deoyeedt Annahal Pallab wrote 9 of 10 songs of the album while the first track, Kalo Raat was written by Irfan Rafi. Mechanix thanks all major bands and underground bands who have helped them out, and dedicates the album tor the fans, for what they are.

The formation of Mechanix dates way back in 2005. Tridib, Tamzid, Reaz and Rusho joined forces and from the ashes of their ex-bands Metrical and Annex (also known as, Vetust) formed "Mechanix" on 23rd November, 2005. Imran from Prisoners joined in as the lead guitarist. With this first lineup, the band went on to make history by covering Holy Wars, Tornado of Souls, Master of Puppets, Painkiller etc. in a lot of underground shows. The band was very well received by fans and was quickly making a a name for themselves. Mechanix got their first big break by participating and eventually going up to the semi finals of D'Rockstars2 in 2007. Reaz, their drummer also was awarded "best drummer" in the nation-wide band hunt.

Mechanix then finally got the opportunity to release their first ever single called "Joddha" in the Band Mixed Album "Underground 2" coordinated by Ibrahim Ahmed Kamal (of Aurthohin/ex-Warfaze fame at that time). This song was composed, tuned, written and recorded by ex-guitarist Imran. The lineup for the band remain unchanged until 2008 when Imran got into personal problems, which forced him to leave after which he won the copyrights of the song "Joddha" and he took it with him leaving Mechanix with no songs. Then Zeheen, elder son of Manam Ahmed from legendary band Miles, replaced Imran as the lead guitarist. The band then proceeded to make song with this new lineup and released their iconic hit "Dhruboshor" in the band mixed album, "Rock 202" by Iqbal Asif Jewel in 2009. Another hit, "Itihash '71" dedicated to the Liberation War of Bangladesh was released in the next year in the next compilation, "Rock 404". The band was also continuing work on their debut album on the side and was completely done with it by August 2010. Unfortunately at that time, Rusho had to stop performing as he got very busy with life and the band had to recruit Nadwee as a new bassist. Rusho has retained a close relationship with the band and is deemed a lifetime member of Mechanix. Finally in 30th July of 2011, Mechanix released their long awaited and much anticipated debut album "Oporajeyo" from Deadline Music (DLM).

Paper Rhyme by Paper Rhyme

"Paper Rhyme" is the debut self-titled album by popular Bangladeshi '90s pop-rock band Paper Rhyme . It was released in 1996 from Soundtek in cassette format. Nearing the millennium, it received a CD release on "Silver Disc". Paper Rhyme was a band that formed in 1992, with the lineup of: Ahmed Saad , Nasser Haque , Rashed Iqbal , Aninda Kabir Avik and Schumann Zaman . Rashed and Nasser were part of popular pop-rock trio "Masrur-Rashed-Nasser" , with two albums called Lesson-1 and Lesson-2 . The band produced only one album and then "disappeared" as they like to say it after '96, but actually the band members went their different ways in life. They were in hiatus until in 2017, when they reunited (with the absence of Rashed Iqbal) for one last studio performance in a '90s bands compilation album called "Abar" , with the song, "Darao Bondhu" . Paper Rhyme's biggest hit to this day is the song called "On
