Sumon, a.k.a. Bassbaba, is one of the pioneer musicians in Bangla Band history. He has also compiled band mixed albums which go by the name 'Agontuk'. Released in 2003, the first album of the series featured various UG bands along with the legend 'Isha Khan Durey' himself and was a milestone in Bangla band music. Notably, 'Chol Chol Chol' by Dew Drops revitalized Kazi Nazrul Islam among youths.
